Protect the missing card, use the ICP replacement service, and keep official proof of the request while the new card is processed.
Act promptly
If the card is lost or stolen, avoid posting its image or full ID number publicly. Review recent account activity where the card may have been used for verification. If you suspect misuse or theft, follow the reporting instructions provided by the relevant authority.
Replacement checklist
- Open the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security replacement-card service ↗.
- Check the current applicant requirements, accepted channels, documents, fees and delivery options.
- Prepare your passport and residence information. Keep the damaged card if you still have it.
- Submit only through ICP or an authorised service channel, pay through the official checkout and save the receipt and request number.
- Track the request through the channel stated on the receipt.
While you wait
Use only official digital identity documents or request evidence accepted by the organisation you are dealing with. A screenshot from an unknown app or an unofficial “temporary card” service should not be trusted.
Never send an OTP, UAE Pass approval or card image to someone who contacts you unexpectedly and promises faster replacement.
