How to check and pay Dubai traffic fines safely
Use an official RTA or Dubai Police channel, verify the vehicle and fine details, then save the payment receipt until the record updates.
What to prepare
Have the traffic-file or vehicle details requested by the official service. Enter plate source, category, code and number carefully. If you manage several vehicles, confirm the make and registration before paying.
Safe payment sequence
- Open RTA’s official fines-payment page ↗ or Dubai Police’s official service.
- Review each fine’s date, authority and vehicle before selecting payment.
- Read any black-point, impound or attendance requirement shown by the authority.
- Pay only through the official checkout and save the receipt.
- Recheck the record after the processing period stated by the service.
If you believe a fine is wrong
Do not pay through an unknown “discount” link. Use the objection or enquiry route identified by the issuing authority and provide specific evidence. A routine payment page may not resolve a fine that requires another action.
Unexpected fine messages are a common phishing route. Type the authority’s address yourself or use its verified app.
