How to activate a Salik tag correctly
Match the tag, vehicle and traffic-file information carefully before driving through a toll gate.
What to have ready
Keep the tag details, mobile number, vehicle registration card and exact plate information beside you. The plate source, category, code and number must match the registration. A small typing error can attach the tag to the wrong vehicle record.

- Choose the correct account or activation route and read the live requirements.
- Enter tag and vehicle details exactly as shown on official documents.
- Review every plate field before confirming.
- Keep the confirmation and check that the vehicle appears correctly in your Salik account.
Before using the road
Confirm that activation is complete and that the account has sufficient balance. Do not rely on a shop receipt alone as proof that the tag is linked correctly. If you sell the car, change the plate or move the tag, follow Salik’s current account-management instructions rather than reusing old details.
Avoid unofficial “activation agents” who ask for OTPs or remote access to your phone. Use Salik’s own channels.
